SMARTPHONE CONNECT TO WIFI OR CAN USE WITH PHONE DATA TOO?

We have to say: YES and No.

Do not be wonder,let me explain:

Well, there are three conditions we must take them into consideration.

First: indoor environment or within 300 meters (open air--without barrier)

Basic home protocol: WIFI

Router : two channels,(our devices supported 2.4G )

(1)Product: WiFi smart home appliances

Download the App ( by scan the QR code in the manual instruction）

Add the devices into the APP

Login in with your WIFI account number and code.

And then you can remote control them by WIFI or phone data (regardless the distance).

(2)Product:ZigBee smart home appliances

Devices: gateway--convert the WIFI signal to ZigBee signal (it is necessary)

We recommend multi-mode gateway.

Step: Download the App( by scan the QR code in the manual instruction）

Add the ZigBee devices into the APP

Login in with your WIFI account number and code.

And then you can remote control them by WIFI or phone data (regardless the distance)

Note: the distance of the ZigBee indoor is only 300 meters(open air--without barrier).

So e.g: if the user wishes to use a ZigBee temperature and humidity sensor (tuya zigbee thermometer) in his/her green house,and then remote control it indoor by WiFi or remote control it our-door by phone data.

The user must make sure the distance between the signal source indoor and the ZigBee sensor is within 300 meters.

Second:out-door environment or within 2000 meters(open air-without barrier)

Basic home protocol: WIFI

Router : two channels,(our devices supported 2.4G )

Product: the out-door products e.g.smart electricity /water meter

Device: Gateway--convert the WIFI signal to Lora signal(it is necessary)

Download the App ( by scan the QR code in the manual instruction）

Add the smart electricity/water meter( there is a Lora module insert)

Login in with your WIFI account number and code.

And then you can remote control them by WIFI or phone data (regardless the distance)

Note: the distance of the Lora products out-door is only 2000 meters(open air--without barrier).

So if the user wishes to use a smart Lora electricity meter out--door，they must make sure the distance between the signal source indoor and the Lora products is within 2000 meters.

Then they can remote control them by WIFI or remote control by phone data(regardless the distance)

For example: our product WIFI smart switch electricity meter can be remote control by WiFi( within 300 meters) or by Lora （within 2000 meters）

Third: use phone data only,without WIFI.

We have some products with a phone data that can work in our domestic market.

E. g.if a person live in the open air or need to monitor some data out side( the research persons).They can use our products (with phone data card insert).

There is a 4G module in our products,and the user should open the phone data,and connect the device,and then the device will work soon.The user can remote control the device directly.

But we only development little parts of our products with this function ,because the phone data price may not competitive and it is not widely used in usual life.

And to be honest,we have not tested them in the other countries.So it is not sure whether the devices can work in the worldwide or not.

Words to customers:

Our recommend is to use the WIFI or ZigBee products for usual life.And if the user is a construction company... and has to remote control the devices far away out door.We suggest to use Lora products.
